I do not remember the stroke of midnight, but my hazy memories of last night indicate that I did indeed have a hell of a party.  I entered 2009 good and fuckered up, and my hangover really isn’t that bad today.

My resolutions are to eat more junk food, smoke more, exercise less, and try to stay as ignorant as possible about as much as I can.  I’m trying to be more patriotic.

My girlfriend got me a pizza, there’s a Loony Toons marathon on, and I’m not at work.  Woohoo.

Cartoons were so much better before there was so much commercialism tied in.  Since I get to use living with a 2 year old as an excuse to watch more, I’ve seen seen everything between Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, and I have to say I feel sorry for kids today.  Thankfully the classics are still available here and there, because these glorified 22 minute CG commercials are nothing compared to the antics of Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry, Popeye, Woody Woodpecker, Hong Kong Phooey, Quick Draw… you get my point.
